A certificate of qualification for a C class motorboat can be acquired by a person who is at least 18 years of age, meets the prescribed health conditions, in particular regarding vision and hearing, completes the training and passes the exam according to the prescribed program.

Validity of the Certificate: With the conviction of the C-Class Cycle Manager, all boats can be operated as well as yachts up to 30 gross tons (and for economic purposes) and are issued for a period of 5 (five) years. It is renewed with a valid certificate of healthworthiness of a member of a crew of naval vessels, boats and yachts issued by an authorized physician.

The Skipper – Category C course is designed for those who want to acquire skills and knowledge to handle and manage all types of boats and yachts up to 30 BT. The course duration is 31 hours, including 25 hours of lectures and 6 hours of practical navigation.
The course content covers a range of topics including navigation, motorcycles and protective measures, marine meteorology and regulations, maneuvering on a boat, and avoiding collision at sea. Participants will also learn about the maritime radiotelephone service and safety at sea. Practical navigation on a boat is also a key component of the course.

Upon successful completion of the course, participants will receive a certificate of qualification for a C class motorboat. The certificate is valid for a period of 5 years and allows the holder to operate all types of boats and yachts up to 30 gross tons for economic purposes. The certificate is renewed with a valid certificate of healthworthiness of a member of a crew of naval vessels, boats and yachts issued by an authorized physician.
